Maxim J Carling B Com BA
Max is the founding director of Carling Capital Partners. He has worked in commercial and investment banking, finance and accounting industries for more than 28 years and has direct industry experience as the finance director of a group of public and private companies.
Max has a broad range of senior advisory and project management experience in all facets of corporate finance for both medium sized and large corporations and government. Unlike many professionals who provide advice Max is never concerned about providing a client with an honest opinion on the most appropriate solution to a problem.
During his corporate career he has worked as a director/senior executive with Standard Chartered Bank, Ramsay Health Care and Prime Television whilst finance director of the Paul Ramsay Group, Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu, Asian Capital Partners Australia, ANZ Investment Bank and SG Hambros. |

David L Williams B Com LLB FCA FFINSIA FAICD
David is an experienced corporate advisory executive with 28 years of stockbroking and corporate advisory experience. He worked with Ord Minnett Securities for nine years and BZW Australia for four years, having managed the corporate finance departments at both investment banks.
On leaving BZW David became involved as an investor in several businesses including property development as a principal. Since 2001 he has participated on a number of public company Boards including the role of Chairman.
During his professional career David has acted as strategic adviser to many large public companies and the Federal Government in addition to his advisory roles with mid cap ASX listed companies in a variety of business sectors.
At CCP David has provided strategic advice across the full range of the firm’s services. David enjoys the challenge of seemingly difficult problems and his clients frequently seek his opinion on complex issues. |

Ian S Knox B Com CA
Ian is a Chartered Accountant with more than 26 years of experience gained initially within the international professional firm of Arthur Andersen and since 1987 through corporate CFO roles at a number of Australian listed and private companies.
He has extensive experience across a range of industries including broadcasting & television with Prime Television, entertainment software development and IT, financial services, property development and investment banking.
Ian has served at both a CFO and COO level and has acted as principal specialist advisor in a number of SME corporate reconstructions and commercial start ups.
At CCP Ian plays a pivotal role in ensuring the “deal gets done”. |

Charles F Plumridge BA
Charles is a senior corporate advisor with many years of experience gained in funds management, company research and investment banking. Over the past two decades Charles worked as a partner in a pre-eminent stockbroking firm before it was sold to a major investment bank where he was retained to initiate and manage the research department before migrating into investment banking.
He has been engaged by many major corporations and governments to advise on mergers and acquisitions and disposals of non core assets. Before entering the stockbroking and investment banking industries Charles was a senior executive in the funds management industry. During his career Charles has been a senior executive with the State Superannuation Fund, MacNab Clarke, Credit Suisse First Boston Australia, ANZ Investment Bank and advised many major corporations and governments. |

R Kent Wilson M Com
Following earlier careers as an industrial economist and as an academic, Kent joined the finance industry as an equities research analyst in 1981. He later moved to a corporate advisory role and headed the equities capital markets function of a Melbourne-based stockbroking firm before joining Credit Suisse First Boston in 1991. Kent played a major role in the emergence of CSFB as a leading firm in the Australian equities market in the early 1990’s. He was a key figure in the successful management buyout of the firm in the mid-1990’s (when it became First Pacific Stockbrokers) and in the successful re-integration of the business when the firm was later restored to CSFB ownership.
With CSFB, Kent’s roles included Head of Research and Co-Head of Australian Equities; he was a member of the firm’s Australian Executive Committee and of various global operating committees. Kent has served as an advisor on key finance industry bodies, including the Australian Stock Exchange and the Securities and Derivatives Industry Association. Kent is now based mainly in Europe, following his retirement in 2004 as a Managing Director of CSFB. |
